Social Media Projects

The Perthshire Media Co team is experienced in managing social media accounts.

We can takeover your account permanently, or just temporarily to get you started and show you how it’s done. We can also help you set up an account from scratch, or assist with something in particular that you’re unsure about or struggling with, such as planning an ad campaign or setting up a shop.

Everyone has slightly different goals for their social media, so we tailor our approach to ensure we deliver just what you’re looking for. Below are some examples of our clients:

Our Social Media Clients:

Jules Akel

We are helping renowned graphic designer Jules Akel manage his Instagram account. We’ve organically grown his account from 84 followers to over 250 genuine followers who really interact, and engagement is up significantly. Jules’s main aim is to showcase his work, using Instagram as a virtual catalogue. See the latest here.

Giraffe Perth

Giraffe Perth were looking for someone to take the hassle out of social media and regularly create authentic posts on Instagram and Facebook in their own brand style. We were happy to help and have been able to take over with minimal input needed, so they can focus on their important charity work.

Perthshire Artisans

As part of her freelance work with GrowBiz Scotland, Abigail launched and handled the social media on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for Perthshire Artisans, and organically grew the followers on Instagram to over 1000. She also created and updated the Facebook and Instagram shop, and still write blogs and creates newsletters for the brand. Take a look here.

Great Perthshire

A collective of food and drink providers in Perthshire and Kinross, with an annual food festival, Great Perthshire wanted someone to keep their social media going throughout the year, and not just when the festival was taking place. We’ve implemented a strategy to ensure the account posts meaningful content on a regular basis.

REDS

A GrowBiz Scotland-powered initiative, REDS was launched in the summer of 2020. Abigail helped run the crowdfunding campaign during the launch and has also organised 2 highly successful virtual markets on social media. She’s responsible for the day to day running of the REDS social media pages and helping with the marketing strategy. Take a look here.

Discover Grantown

We worked with the Grantown Initiative to help promote this beautiful highland town on social media for almost a year, with regular organic posting, social media strategy advice and paid Facebook campaigns. We are experienced in running Facebook ads and the project was extremely successful.

Since launching, we’ve helped a number of clients improve their social media through consultations, including one as far afield as Honduras! All have been delighted with the advice they received:

“Abi worked as part of the Discover Grantown team after we secured funding to promote the town as a destination. She managed the organic and paid social media activity for about a year. I'm really impressed with how professional Abi is and she really does know her stuff! At the start of the project, she created a plan so we knew well in advance what was needed from us for content. During the project she provided reports on how the accounts were performing and made suggestions for spontaneous activity. Abi's work produced outstanding results, which exceeded expectations, with new followers and excellent reach volumes. We highly recommend Abi for social media activity and wouldn't hesitate to work with her again.” — Karen Martin, Grantown Business Association
